Shavuot

Shavuot harvesting holiday for Israel to bring first fruits, the day Moses gave the ten commandments to Israel on Mount Sinai, and the day God sent the Ruach HaKodesh (Acts 2). Rabbi Kevin Solomon begins the service by examining Ruth's story and Paul’s words in Romans 9 to explain why non-Jewish followers of Yeshua are invited to celebrate this wonderful Jewish festival. Rabbi Kevin continues by surveying specific passages from the Torah relevant to Shavuot and leads us in its observance and celebration.

Ruth 1:15-17; Romans 9:23-26; Leviticus 23:15-17, 21, 37-38; Exodus 24:17; Deuteronomy 16:9-12, 16-17; 26:1-10; Acts 2:1-8
